أسفرت قرعة كأس العالم للأندية 2023 بحضور السويسري جياني إنفانتينو رئيس الاتحاد الدولي “فيفا”، والتي تستضيفها دولة المغرب عن مواجهة قوية للنادي الأهلي مع نظيره أوكلاند سيتي، في أولى مباريات افتتاح كأس العالم للاندية 2023 بالمغرب، وينتظر فريق سياتل الأمريكي الفائز من هذه المباراة، وجاء في القرعة أن النادي الأهلي سيواجه أوكلاند سيتي النيوزيلاندي يوم الأربعاء القادم من شهر فبراير 2023 في المباراة الافتتاحية للمونديال.

أسفرت قرعة كأس العالم للأندية 2023 والتي أقيمت في أكاديمية محمد الخامس في الرباط في المغرب، عن خوض ثلاث أندية عربية في مشاركة بالمونديال ضمن منافسات النسخة رقم 18 من البطولة خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 11 فبراير، ومن المقرر أن يشارك في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية هذه النسخة 7 أندية وهذه الأندية كالتالي:

  • الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي ممثلاً عن قارة إفريقيا.
  • نادي الوداد البيضاوي المغربي (الفريق المضيف للبطولة).

يلتقي النادي الأهلي المصري أمام أوكلاند سيتي في المباراة التي ستقام على الأراضي المغربية في يوم الأربعاء المقبل 21 من شهر فبراير الجاري خلال الدور التمهيدي الأول للبطولة.

يواجه المارد الأحمر نظيره أوكلاند سيتي في مباراة افتتاح مونديال 2023 في مباراة ربع النهائي، وفي حالة انتصار الأهلي على أوكلاند سيتي وسياتل ساوندرز الأمريكي، يكون في انتظاره نادي ريال مدريد الإسباني بطل أوروبا في مباارة نصف النهائي.
