بالرغم من ارتفاع سعر الدولار مقابل الجنيه المصري اليوم وتأثيره على سعر الأرز فى مصر اليوم، الا أن الدولة المصرية بإشراف القيادة السياسية و وزارة التموين والتجارة الداخلية، اتخذت خطة طارئة للحد من ارتفاع سعر الأرز الأبيض و الأرز الشعير، وكتجربة أولي تم اتخاذها فى بعض محافظات الوجه البحري وهم: كفر الشيخ والشرقية والدقهلية والغربية ودمياط والبحيرة، والزام المزارعين بتوريد طن واحد أرز شعيرعن كل فدان أرز أي حوالي 25% من حصيلة انتاج الفدان، مزيد من المعلومات فى التقرير التالي عبر موصع مصر اليوم.

في خضم ارتفاع العملات الاجنبية مفابل سعر الجنية المصري، والحاجة الي تلبية احتياجات الملايين من المواطنين وخاصة فى الارز، وهي السلعة الاستراتيجية الأولي والهامة بعد الدقيق والمستهلكة بشكل يومي، تواجه الدولة كابوس ارتفاع سعر الأرز الأبيض بخطة قوية، وذلك وسط امتناع بعض الفلاحين عن بيع محصول الارز الشعير، مع توقعات سعر الأرز في مصر اليوم والايام المقبلة بالزيادة.
يذكر أن وزارة التموين ملتزمة بشكل شهري بتويرد الاف الاطنان الي الدعم التمويني للمواطنين، والمزارعين من الفئات المستفيدة دعم التموين .

وقد وجه وزير التموين والتجارة الداخلية الدكتور على المصيلحى بسرعة صرف مستحقات المزارعين خلال 48 ساعة من استلام المحصول.

وأقر بعدة عقوبات علي المزارع الممتنع عن التسليم وهي:

عدم صرف الأسمدة والمبيدات الزراعية لمدة عام للجميع الزراعات.

عدم السماح له بزراعة الأرز في عامها القادم.

كما يعد عدم التسليم مخالفة تموينية.
