وقال دياب ، الأحد ، إن أهم أهداف الخطة الإستراتيجية بخصوص الممشى السياحي ، تحويل الغردقة إلى مدينة خضراء ، وتطوير الساحات ومحور الطريق ، ووضع الغردقة على خريطة الأماكن السياحية العالمية.

وأوضح: صدر أمر بعمل دليل موحد لجميع المواد والأرضيات والإهتمام بنسق الحدائق والجناين لتوفر لمسة جمالية ومنع أشكال العشوائية. كما قمنا بتقسيم المدينة إلى قطاعات متجانسة تنقسم إلى قطاعات ذات أولوية في التنمية ، مثل القطاع السكني لخدمة أهالي الغردقة ، ثم قطاع الخدمات والسياحة.

وقال دياب إن تنفيذ المشروع أربع مراحل ، مضيفا أنه تم الانتهاء من المرحلتين الأولى والثانية ، فيما يجري العمل حاليا على المرحلة الثالثة ، وتم الانتهاء من الممر السياحي في إطاره.

وأكد أن هذا الممشى السياحي يعد من أكبر المعالم السياحية في المحافظة ، حيث يبلغ طوله 6500 متر.
