ما هو مرض الصلب المشقوق؟

مرض الصلب المشقوق كما يُعرفه الأطباء أنه عبارة عن مرض يحدث للطفل أثناء الولادة ويندرج تحت مسمى (عيب خلقي)، ويحدث عندما لا يتكون العمود الفقري بشكل سليم بالإضافة إلى عدم نمو الحبل الشوكي كما ينبغي، ولذلك يعتبر عيب في الأنبوب العصبي للطفل، ولا يوجد له مكان ظهور محدد بالجسم.

ما هي أنواع الصلب المشقوق أو السنسنة المشقوقة؟

تم إكتشاف نوعين فقط من السنسنة المشقوقة وهما كالتالي:

النوع الأول: الصلب المشقوق الخفي (المستتر)، وسماه الأطباء مستتر بسبب عدم اكتشافه عن طريق الفحص السريري، ولكن عند إجراء الأشعة والفحوصات على الظهر للأطفال.

النوع الثاني: الصلب المشقوق الكيسي ،ويعتبر هذا النوع من أخطر الأنواع ويرجع ذلك لكونه كيس يحتوي على جزء من الحبل الشوكي ولهذا يقد يصيب الطفل بـ شلل تام أو ربما يقضي على حياته، ويطلق عليه أيضاً اسم القيلة النخاعية السحائية.

الأسباب المؤدية للصلب المشقوق

لم يكتشف الطب حتى الآن السبب الرئيسي المؤدي إلى الصلب المشقوق، ولكن هناك العديد من الأمور التي تساعد على احتمالية الاصابة به، ولعل من أهم الأسسباب هو العامل الوراثي، وتعتبر الوراثة سبب غير واضح، وأيضاً نقص حمض الفوليك، ولذلك يكتب الدكتور أقراص الفوليك أثناء فترة الحمل لتفادي الجنين إصابة العمود الفقري.

أعراض الإصابة بالصلب المشقوق

لا يمكن ملاحظة أي عرض ناتج عنه وخاصة النوع الاول فلا توجد له أعراض ظاهرة، ولكن تظهر بسبب المضاعفات الناتجة عنه، ويمكن اكتشاف المرض بعد الأسبوع 12 من ولادة المرأة بسبب عدم انغلاق الأنبوبة العصبية، مما يؤدي إلى فتحة في العمود الفقري واضطراب في الجهاز العصبي أو إصابة فقرة او عدة فقرات من العمود الفقري.
